Tongala Water Tower. 1914.

Cylindrical tank on a tall shaft.

Photo: c.2000.

The shaft of this tower is undecorated. Compare e.g. Echuca. The drawing shows two internal diaphragms in the shaft, and three regular bands of four windows near the top of each compartment. The reason for the irregular pattern shown in this photograph is not known.
